Using Google Cloud, beauty brand Lush has been able to increase both sales and sustainability in three ways.
- Lush migrated 17 global e-commerce websites to Compute Engine and Cloud SQL in just 22 days, where they are powered by 100% renewable energy.
- Since the products of Lush have no packaging due to sustainability considerations, the company was looking for a different way to help customers recognise their products and ingredients. Using Google Cloud’s A.I. platform, Lush developed Lush Lens, a mobile app that can recognise its products and provide consumers with the ingredients and instructions.
- The beauty brand worked with Google’s Android platform to create Lush Pay; a point-of-sale program that lets employees make sales anywhere in the store.
